Back in March I posted a sneak preview of Anstey Horne’s new 3D model of Birmingham and the interest it generated was very surprising.
I am pleased to say that we have now completed our fully interactive and dimensionally accurate 3D model of Birmingham city centre. The model captures the whole area within the inner ring road in high detail.
The 3D model is now fully live and we are able to use it to work with clients, architects and planners to model massing, assess context and visual impact, check protected views and give indicative daylight impacts in real time.
Today's screenshot from the 3D model shows Colmore Business District and our office highlighted in purple. We aim to keep the model up to date by adding consented and pending planning approvals. If you have such a scheme that you would like us to add to the model or want to discuss a scheme that you would like us to look at please get in touch.
