Centre House, White City

Rights to Light Centre House

We provided advice on all aspects of Rights to Light for the development of Centre House in White City.

This proposed residential development will provide 527 homes and 10,000 sqft of space for Imperial College London, lining a new public route to Imperial’s White City Campus.

Centre House acts as a gateway between Wood Lane Underground Station and the new White City Living quarter. The plans for the development were drawn up by Pilbrow & Partners. The proposal consists of a low-rise podium forming a long, sweeping crescent which defines a new north south pedestrian route. The route connects Wood Lane underground Station to the emerging Imperial College Masterplan.

The scheme was submitted for planning in October 2018 and received approval in March 2019. All of the existing buildings on the 1.4 acre site will be demolished and replaced with two buildings of 22 and 32 storeys.

Preparatory works started on site in late autumn 2020, with construction due to commence in 2021. The first new homes are expected to be completed by 2024.
