Daylight Sunlight High Path Estate

Daylight & Sunlight advice for the redevelopment of The High Path Estate in Merton.

This redevelopment project envisages the comprehensive, phased regeneration of an ailing existing 1950's estate. Located in the London Borough of Merton, the High Path Estate will be regenerated to create a sustainable and vibrant mixed-use, mixed-tenure community.

Anstey Horne were appointed by Clarion Housing Group to advise on daylight and sunlight aspects of the masterplan and detailed Phase 1 proposal. Phase 1 includes up to 1,700 new homes across the whole development and over 10,000sqm of commercial, retail, office and community uses. High Path is part of Clarion Housing's £1bn Merton Regeneration Project. This will see the creation of 2,800 homes: replacing 1,000 existing homes and building 1,800 new homes.

The proposed regeneration is also set to provide a new neighbourhood park with a play trail for children. Also included in the plans is a new community centre. New retail and commercial facilities on Merton High Street and Morden Road will create a commercial hub near South Wimbledon station, with facilities including restaurants, cafes and a new community centre.

The proposed new residential accomodation includes flats with up to four bedrooms. Maisonettes will have two, three or four bedrooms with either gardens or roof terraces. Included in the plans are three bedroom mews houses, and Townhouses with private rear gardens.
