Eider House

Rights of Light Eider House

We provided advice on all aspects of Rights of Light for the development of Eider House in Manchester.

The scheme involves the creation of a new 100,000 sq. ft. building forming part of a 12.5 acre, mixed use development in Piccadilly Basin in Manchester.

The proposed development is located within the heart of the Piccadilly Basin Strategic Regeneration Framework area. The proposals include office, residential, retail and leisure spaces along with a variety of secure CitiPark car parks.

The residental element at Eider House will consist of two linked eight to ten storey buildings to include a range of 1,2 and 3 bedroom apartments, 2 duplex and nine townhouses. The site is located on Ducie Street, adjacent to the Dakota Deluxe Hotel.

Belgravia Living Group, a joint venture between Town Centre Securities (TCS) and the Highgrove Investment Group, secured planning consent for the Eider House development in January 2018.

We continued to support the development through the construction phase, issuing Party Wall notices to enable the prompt start of works on site.
