We prepared a 10 year planned maintenance schedule for this impressive collection of ten mansion blocks constructed in the early 20th century which had suffered from intermittent maintenance.
Our defect diagnostics report highlighted immediate issues with falling masonry and defective stone. We specified the remedial works and managed the works on site. Replica moulded projections made of GRP replaced the existing stone which will reduce future maintenance and associated costs.
As well as defect diagnosis, our Building Consultancy team prepared a 10 year planned preventative maintenance schedule and provided specification and contract administration services for the works.
In addition we undertook the role of principal designer. We reviewed applications for licences for alterations and with close consultation with the landlord and managing agent ensured that the works did not detrimentally effect the landlord or other leaseholders.
