UK Network of Surveyors

UK Surveyor Network

At Anstey Horne we made significant investments to enable mobile working prior to the impact of the pandemic.

With the benefit of hindsight, this has proved enormously beneficial in supporting our network of surveyors based all around the UK.

The imposition of repeated lockdowns has made the home location of our surveyors much more relevant in supporting clients. With surveyors as far north as Sheffield, Norwich in the east, Brighton in the south and Plymouth in the west we have a network of surveyors all around the UK.

Our offices in LondonBirminghamManchesterBristol and Plymouth have been providing advice on projects all around the UK for many years. To support the network of offices we invested in technology to enable remote working, such as cloud based systems and storage. This investment now allows our network of surveyors to work effectively from home.

Not only does this network of surveyors bring obvious geographical advantages when attending site, it also provides additional insights such as local construction methods and materials that can vary around the UK.

Lasting Impact on Location and Office Use

According to a survey of just under 1,000 firms by the Institute of Directors (IoD), 74% said they would be keeping increased home-working after COVID-19. More than half of those polled said their organisation intended to reduce their long-term use of workplaces. More than one in five reported their usage would be significantly lower.

Whilst remote working brings additional challenges in managing teams remotely and requires commitment to support employees mental wellbeing, at Anstey Horne we have already seen tangible benefits. These include improved productivity and a greater geographical reach to towns and cities all around the UK.
